Model roles

Assign different models to planning, implementation, and review when you want speed in one phase and depth in another. Defaults come from your plan; overrides live in Settings.

Availability by plan

Higher tiers unlock additional model families and larger context windows. If a model is unavailable, the workspace suggests the closest supported alternative.

• Fast models — interactive planning and small edits.
• Balanced models — day-to-day feature work.
• High-reasoning models — large refactors and security-sensitive reviews.
